Year 6 have been working hard this week with their spelling and grammar revision in preparation for SATs. They worked with a partner to complete and outdoor SPaG hunt challenge.
Today Year 5 got to draw on the tables! In our unit on Statistics we have been learning about line graphs and today we created our own - on the desks! When we finished drawing we then interpreted each other’s graphs and answered challenging questions which tested our...
Everyone had a wonderful time on our trip to Alnwick Castle. We learned about herbal lore and the wonderful uses of Lavender, Ginger, Yarrow and Cardamon. We also learned how to use water and vinegar to make pennies shiny and which star was the brightest in the sky....
The School Council helped towards making the final decision on what new playground equipment to purchase. We now have four mini health champions who will train the children to use it safely.
Today we challenged ourselves to a matching game. We needed to add and subtract fractions to find the correct order for the pyramid matching game. We are very good at fraction work and enjoyed this activity lots.
In English we have started to read Cliffhanger. We were looking at how Tim, the main character, was feeling. We used conscience alley to help Tim make a decision on whether he should visit the adventure centre.
